Young Eagles

About the Young Eagles Program EAA wants to offer everyone between the ages of ages 8 and 17 an opportunity to fly in a private airplane with a qualified pilot. It’s safe. It’s fun. It’s free. And it’s fantastic!

The Young Eagles Program was launched on July 31, 1992. Since then more than 1 million young people have received an airplane ride through the program. More than 34,000 EAA members have volunteered their time and aircraft to participate as Young Eagle Flight Leaders (pilots).

Chapter 875 has been participating in the Young Eagles program since it's inception.  The chapter has provided various aviation related activities and airplane rides for Young Eagles on an annual basis.
